Marc Russell

Marc Russell is a Connecticut artist, who has worked in advertising, event and portrait photography. He is also a photography educator and sculptor. Mr. Russell completed B.A and M.F.A. degrees in photography and sculpture from Brooklyn College, NY. In addition, he studied at the Brooklyn Museum Art 

School, Cooper Union, The Art Students League, Pratt Institute Study Program in Italy and Maine Photographic Workshops. 


Mr. Russell has taught in the Industrial Design Department at Pratt Institute and for 20 years was adjunct professor of black and white photography and advanced photo studio techniques at Rockland Community College, NY. 


Marc Russell has exhibited work in group and solo shows including the Queens Museum, Mattatuck Museum, Five Points Gallery, Rockefeller Gallery, Blue Door Yonkers, Blue Hill Plaza, Hopper House, Rockland Center for the Arts, Washington Art Association, Imaging Arts Gallery, Upstream Gallery, Salmagundi Club, Uma Gallery, Renaissance Gallery, Soho Photo, JCC West Nyack, JCC Louisville, Ky., Olivet College, Mi., SUNY Albany, NY, Woodbury Library, CT. He has participated in many Art Fairs and is included in numerous private collections.
